Volunteer Park & Conservatory Seattle, WA

I don’t have many photos of Volunteer Park but the grounds are lush, open, and beautifully landscaped with huge ancient trees everywhere and sweeping views of Seattle’s skyline. This is my favorite park to jog in because the Sparrows will fly criss-cross around you while you run, very close to the ground.  Volunteer Park is also home to Seattle’s Asian Art Museum, which always has interesting exhibits housed in a gorgeous Art Deco building. They sometimes feature chamber music performances, readings, and painting classes in the Conservatory, pictured here.
